The little girl or boy who took my place in the painting; I see them playing around on the playground, so happy and careless and vulnerable. But I can’t help them, I can’t tell them that what they’ve now is temporary. Innocence is a beautiful thing that we don’t understand and you can’t tell them either how beautiful it is because understanding is the first step of losing innocence. We all try to relive our playground days but I say regrettably, it’s all over. How are we meant to live as if we turned back time to our childhood? I say it’s too late because we all understand and by understanding we’ve all lost our innocence.
