I hate that I have to admit it,

But it wasn’t just you by my side,

But the crowd and the music we played,

Sure we smiled, laughed too,

But it wasn’t enough, till I finally saw,

That one face far away in the dark,

And though nothing changed,

I still looked because I found comfort,

Strange warmth I felt that day,

And I knew I’d been longing it,

I’m lonelier than ever, but they’ll never know.
