ROSES’ GLAMOUR

You’ll never guess my next move,

Because it’s unknown even to me,

This curse grows within me,

It makes me laugh, how I can never know,

The simplest of things, you’ll be left,

Wondering why I’m messed up this way.

I used to know exactly what I wanted.

A downpour of summer rain and snow,

Rose petals and a bouquet of roses,

Everywhere I look, picking out things,

Amazed, I’m forever alone, dreaming,

I’ll wait for that burst, bring me up,

Make me feel alive, been dead too long,

Always on my knees praying, praying,

Hoping when I’m in the darkest of rooms,

A glimmer of true joy can save me.
