MOMENTUM

I’m getting close to the stage of serendipity,

I can feel glorious things all around me,

And something stirring deep inside me,

For once I feel good. Could this be true?

In the momentum, I feel I could touch the sky,

Crying now, it was almost real.

Summer’s here, but I got that sadness,

Like you said in your song,

Sometimes we need to pray for the days ahead to be good.

I had almost forgotten about the warmth of the Sun,

For in this rain, under grey clouds,

It disappears like my shadow in the night.

But still, I live for the sweet days I used to have,

And they appear now, in small fragments,

Fragments of hope, I believe in tomorrow,

And the things in life, they taught me to cherish,

Nothing’s forever, except maybe this chase that keeps me going forward.
