LEAVE MY BODY
Like clear water.
Cutting through rocks.
Paving a path.
Never-ending,
I continue flowing,
Never-stopping,
Consuming fire,
Afraid of the cold,
For when I freeze,
I do not move,
I barely breathe,
but despair,
holding onto a rope,
called hope.
Waiting for the sun,
to melt me from,
this icy shell.
When spring comes,
I flow through,
the flowers,
and breathe their,
perfume.
I forget that,
I have a body,
for I am finally,
under the sun,
and life is anew.
Smiling, I glisten,
like diamonds under,
golden drops of sun.
I leave my body,
leave the memories of,
winter loneliness,
and solitary pain.
Though I am alone,
I am surrounded by,
DIVINE BEAUTY.
