In and out of shadows,

to see you is to look into the sun and smile.

But with fire, you also bring a flood,

I say a prayer to make it to the end.

Just to see your face,

it’s like seeing an old friend,

but my soul is tormented by shadows,

and a smile is all I can muster.

Forever alone,

looking at the skies,

saluting the new season,

I walk through the gates of the dreamworld,

with soft rays of dawn on my face.

The birthplace of shadows is a solace from reality,

and you only get one choice in what you believe.

Either something is wrong with you,

or the world is lying to you.
